Our Latest News
Congratulations to the class of 2018 with the success in their Summer GCSE results.
We are immensely proud of their achievements and their individual results as our students continue to achieve higher GCSE outcomes than similar students nationally in 2018.
Kelvin Hall School Year 11 students worked really hard this year with the more demanding GCSE exams in all their subjects and we have continued to maintain a positive Progress 8 score for the school and our students. Some noticeable successes include 50% of students in English and 49 % of students in Maths achieving the new strong grade pass, with Science achieving 67% in the new grade 5.
We are pleased that they have achieved similar success in the good pass grade 4 in Maths (73%) , English (68%) and Science (81%).
This year we entered more students for the English Baccalaureate subjects, with 27% of students achieving a good pass in English, Maths, Humanities, Science and a Foreign Language, which again continues to be higher than both national and local achievement in this area.
I would like to pass on our best wishes to the class of 2018 as they move on to the next phase of their learning.
